Next Wednesdays
We will be taking a break from Wednesday Nights during Advent and the Holidays. Next Wednesdays will be back and better than ever on January 7, 2009!
What is next?
The
word "next" can be used in several different ways. It can mean before
or after something in time. When you are in middle school, it is the
"next" thing after elementary school. It is also a time when you
prepare to go to high school "next". The word "next" can also be used
to describe being close to something or someone. You have a lot of
people you are next to every day; your family, friends, teammates, etc..
Paul writes in 1 Timothy 4:12: "Don't let anyone look down on
you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in
speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity". The time is now to
live your faith. You are not in elementary school anymore. It's time to
develop your faith and make it personal as you take this next step in
your life. Through "Next" we hope to give you encouragement in your
faith as you face the next day, week, even year of your life and to
share that faith with the people God has put "next" to you.
