Message from Peter L-B:

God is doing so many great things here at Trinity and has blessed us with so many resources to minister to young people.  We realize that raising teenagers today can be very difficult with all the distractions the world has to offer.  We are also aware of the incredible potential each young person has to impact this world for Christ. Through our middle school and high school youth programs we want to equip every young person to realize that potential.   Myself, Pastor Mielke, and our many volunteers are here to be partners with parents in this process. We are here to give encouragement and support to both you and your teenagers.  We need your support as well. Please pray for us and this Ministry that it would not only have a positive affect on your kids but also on their friends and our community. If you have any question or concerns please feel free to contact me.

Sunday Night Parenting Group

Join us during Ikon for a new study! Our parenting study begins again on Sunday, January 11. We will be meeting every other week until May 17. Dinner is served at 5:30 at the youth center and the study begins at 6pm and ends at 8pm. We will be studying the Five Love Languages of Teenagers by Gary Chapman. Each person communicates and accepts love differently. We will learn about ourselves as well as our teens as we explore this topic. You will need a book to participate. Pick one up at Family Christian Bookstore or call or email Sue Emmack at 522-1491 ext. 213 to order.
This is a great time to connect and learn with other parents of teens. Know someone who would be interested in this study? Invite them along!
