Children's Ministry

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

These words of Jesus are very clear - children are important and valued in the family of God! Here at Trinity, we follow Jesus' example... we love and value children! Children are welcomed in worship and families are encouraged in their Christian walk together. Trinity offers several programs for families with young children. We invite you to join us!

Living Lights

Living Lights is a class for children from grades Preschool to 5th grade. They learn Bible stories, play games, interact with peers, and have snack. All of which is based on the story learned that evening. This meets every Wednesday evening during our "Fellowship And Bible study Wednesday" from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Registration form available here.

1,2,3 and Me!

This class is designed with the parents and caregivers of young children in mind! Parents/caregivers and their children gather together to play, do art projects, participate in circle time, and learn Bible stories. This is a great transition into preschool for 0-3 year old children, while providing parents with the opportunity to meet other parents with young children. The atmosphere is fun, casual, and lively! Classes meet at both North and South Campuses.

You can access the 1,2,3 and Me! form here.

Church Nursery

We love to have children in worship at Trinity. However, we do understand that little ones may have difficulty sitting through an entire worship service. The church nursery is a place for children ages infant through three to take a break, change diapers, and "get the wiggles out!"

North Campus Nursery -10:00am Sunday Worship - This nursery is located near the school office. Children's toys, activities, and a rocking chair are available. Changing areas are in both the men's and women's restrooms down the hall. This nursery is staffed.

South Campus Nursery - 5:00pm Saturday Worship - This nursery is located off the Narthex . Children's toys, activities, and a rocking chair are available. Changing areas are located in this room as well. This nursery is staffed.

At other worship times, the nursery is open with parental supervision.

Children's Worship

At our North Campus location, we offer Children's Worship at our 10:00 a.m. worship. Children ages 3 (potty trained) through first grade are invited to attend. Children under the age of three will be cared for in the staffed nursery. Children are dropped off in the Children's Worship area while their parents and caregivers attend the 10:00 worship service. Children will participate in a simple liturgy including a Bible Story, singing, life application, and hands on activities.

Toddler Bags

Toddler bags are located near the entrance of worship at both south and north campuses. Young children are welcome to choose a bag and bring it with them into the worship service. Bags include Christian books, coloring sheets, notepads, stickers, and crayons.

Baptism Class

Jesus said, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" Matthew 28:19. Baptism is a gift of God! Living a life in relationship with God through Christ begins with this gift of Baptism. Parents who have a child to be brought to Baptism (or one on the way!) attend this class before the Baptism of their child. This three week class discusses the gift of children and family, the meaning of Baptism and the blessings it brings, and the journey that begins with this wonderful event! Parents receive encouragement in this walk through the "Welcome to the Family" Baptism class and also meet other young families with children who will be brought to Baptism.
