Fall Bible Studies

Sunday Studies

The Heart of the Reformation: Core Teachings and Issues of the Reformation and How They Affect Us Today.  As we commemorate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation this fall, this class, taught by Trinity’s pastors, will explore the biblical teachings of the Reformers, the issues they were addressing in their day, and what this means for us today.  Meets 10:30-11:15am

Sunday School

We are offering nursery and classes for kids aged 0-8th grade on Sundays, from 10:30-11:15 during our adult classes.

Sanctus is the high school youth ministry at Trinity, open to all current 9th-12th grade students. The Word Sanctus is Latin for holy, which means “to be set apart.” We are set apart for God through Christ. Come for a night of fellowship and study of God’s Word as we grow deeper in our faith through learning, conversation, and being challenged to move beyond the "easy answers" as we journey along the path of holiness God has called us to.  Meets at 6:00pm

The Book of James

The book of James is full of practical wisdom for everyday living.  We will look at how we live out our faith in response to God’s incredible gift of grace through Jesus. Bring your Bible if you have one (if not, we will provide one for you!), and feel free to bring the morning beverage of your choice. Study materials will be provided.

September 5th-Oct. 3rd, 9:30-10:50am

Goliath Must Fall:  Winning Your Battle Against Your Giants, Louis Giglio.

It’s likely you have a threatening giant in your life . . . an adversary or stronghold that’s diminishing your ability to live a full and free life. Frozen in the grip of rejection, fear, anger, comfort, or addiction, you’ve lost sight of the promise God has for your life. Demoralized and defeated, you’ve settled for far less than his best. God has a better plan for you—a plan for you to live in victory, that’s why he has silenced your giant once and for all. A study guide will need to be purchased.

October 10th- November 14th

Men’s Studies

He-Brews:  Bible Study, Brews, and Becoming God’s Man

This new Bible Study for men is aimed at building friendships with other guys who will help us live out God’s plan for us as men.   We will spend time getting to know each other, studying God’s Word and enjoying some delicious beverages in a “beer exchange.”   Each guy should bring two 12 oz beers:  one you want to enjoy and the other to trade.

Tues. Sept. 19th, Oct. 17th, & Nov. 14th

7-9PM in the Church Gathering Space

Please contact Pr. Mielke for more information.

Wednesday Night Bible Study

Pastor’s Class - Galatians

Galatians has been called the Magna Carta of the early Christian Church. St. Paul’s letter to the Galatians was written to counter the claims of some who taught that it was necessary for all Christians to keep the Old Testament ceremonial laws to be fully acceptable to God. Our study of Galatians will explore the apostle’s defense of the Gospel that both Jew and Gentile alike are find salvation in Jesus Christ alone. And it is only through the grace of Christ that the Christian is free to live a godly life and produce the fruits of salvation. Paul challenges all of us to a deeper understanding of who we are and what our calling is in Christ Jesus. Galatians was one of the favorite books of Dr. Luther, who once remarked, “The Epistle to the Galatians is my epistle. To it I am as it were in wedlock. It is my Katherine.” Galatians played a key role in the history of Lutheran Reformation.  Starts at 6:45pm

Children ages 0-3 will be lovingly cared for in the childcare room while their siblings and parents attend classes.

Trinity Kids

Preschool through 4th graders are invited to share Jesus through weekly classes as we explore more about God’s love for us and have FUN together.

“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”

1 Timothy 4:12. Middle school students (6th-8th grade) are invited for a night of fellowship, study of God’s Word, and prayer as they grow in their living faith. Through engaging God’s Word, students will be challenged to move beyond knowing the right answers to having a faith that is alive in their daily living. 6:45-8:00pm

RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

RCIA is for those who are new to the Christian faith or have been away from the church for quite some time, baptized or unbaptized. Together we journey through the story of our faith as we connect it to our life in the church.
