Trinity's Mission
We are called to effectively and creatively proclaim the Word of God so that people in the Michiana area will:
- believe in Jesus Christ as Lord
- Confess the orthodox faith of His Church
- commit themselves to the weekly Eucharist
- server Him in His Kingdom
Trinity Lutheran Church is an evangelical and catholic community founded on the principles of the Lutheran Reformation confessed in the Augsburg Confession, 1530.
The Seven Keys of Discipleship
Initiation Through the local church God creates and nurtures new life in Christ.
Eucharist The weekly rhythm of life flows from and to the Eucharist.
Fellowship We need each other to find wholeness and to experience the incarnate love of God.
Ministry Every Christian has been blessed with spiritual gifts to be a blessing to others.
Devotion A devotional reading of the Word transforms lives.
Giving All we own and earn is a gift from God which is offered back to Him in thanksgiving.
Mission God uses us to find lost people, embrace them with His love and bring them into His Church.
History
Trinity Lutheran Church and School was established in 1874. Originally located in downtown Elkhart, today Trinity ministers to the Michiana community at both our North and South Campuses.
